Steve and Tinas wedding video, by Andrews-Photography. We had alot of fun documenting their day. Lots of fun locations at the McNamara Alumni Center. The cool thing about the day besides the couple, was one location. Most brides are getting hip to the fact that most reception sites have a spot for the ceremony. This saves time and guest frustration of a double park or a hard to find destination. Steve thanks for hanging in their for the photos. A big thanks to Calista and Kristana for being little angels on the wedding day.

Wedding at the Cathedral in Saint Paul MN, Thats the big building near the state capital.

Andrews-Photography, Thanks to Chad and Jess for letting me document their day. What a wonderful day sun was out and it was warm to boot. Ceremony at the Cathedral in Saint Paul and Reception at O'Garas Bar on Snelling. Good food nice people if you are thinking of a small venue think of O'Garas.

Andrews Photography "After-Sessions" "Wear the Dress" "Trash the Dress" New trend's in the wedding market.

After Session have been big this year especially with the weather being so unpredictable. Your wedding day is still the same day, brides, try to do your all your formals before the ceremony. Then enjoy your day as it should be with your guests. After Sessions have saved many wedding dreams. Brides think about it if you want a cool location across town and you just didn't have the time on your wedding day. Plan a After-Session with your photographer for the ultimate experience. We add a After Session or Wear the dress session for free to any bridal package ordered in 2009 or 2010. That's pretty cool a $1500.00 Savings. After-Sessions run about 1-2 hours and help expand your dream day. You can wear your hair the same way as your wedding day or maybe change it up. After-Sessions are usually based on photos taken like landscapes. Brides think of a beautiful landscape then add you and your guy in it. Award winning image to say the least.

Andrews Photography had the chance to photograph Sarah and Rio. A couple planning there wedding for the future. She got very excited and wanted to see herself in her dress early, We would call this a "Formal Bridal Session". Rio the groom to be was nervous, he never gets his photo taken that often. He did really well though for a guy that does not like his photo being taken.

Sarah asked if Andrews Photography had any cool concept ideas for a After Session kind of look. We came up with the bride of 2000 cleaning and wearing her wedding dress. The fall colors on Grand Ave were kicking like crazy. So we went outside for a few cha-cha photos and a bridal reflection.

On a different note I think well start to seeing more non traditional gowns and weddings in 2011. Example, Most Russian Brides choose to wear a deep red dress, Some Euro Brides have been going to Royal blue with white and silver accents. Caribean bound brides try off white, creams, Ivory or pale pinks and blues.

Saint Paul Wedding photographer Rod Andrew Wilson, captured a couple doing something really romantic on valentines day. Maurice had photos taken through Andrews Photography in December for self promotion. He had heard that we do something like the paparazzi. Take great photos of the guy popping the question. Maurice did his homework and it payed off in a big way. Maurice had to reschedule a few times, but finally came up with a day that worked. Valentines day. Maurice had Syreeta's Aunt bring her two boys to the location. This was a good reason for being at a given place and time. On the video you can hear the boys in the background saying there abc's. We had two shooters for this event and Syreeta was a bit surprised about all the coverage. She was really grateful though to find out Maurice took the time to really setup something special. Way to go Maurice, getting on the escalator of love. We did a quick little session of the two of them and they were off for brunch with the family. Guys just a quick note if you plan on proposing on an elevator talk fast and make sure you have your laces are secure.Andrews Photography will be doing more free proposals in 2009 only. If you plan on popping the question to your significant other any time now till December of this year call us first. We have many creative ideas and suggestions on how to get it right.
